Berlin, March 2, 2026 – cAI Technology GmbH, the AI subsidiary of the coeo Group headquartered in Berlin, is strengthening its management team: André Heyden has assumed the role of Managing Director as of March 1, 2026. In his new position, he will drive the evolution of cAI into a scalable intelligence platform with a clear focus on production readiness, governance, and market expansion.
Scaling Innovation: From Prototypes to Production-Ready Applications
cAI Technology GmbH develops AI-based products and platform components that measurably improve processes in receivables management and service-intensive environments through enhanced decision-making, consistent orchestration, and scalable execution. cAI is deliberately designed as a modular AI ecosystem: specialized agents, data models, and decision logics interlock and can be flexibly integrated into existing system landscapes. This creates robust, production-ready applications for companies with complex customer communication and compliance requirements.
In his role, André Heyden will systematically advance the cAI ecosystem into a scalable intelligence platform: prioritized AI use cases, stable production applications, and clearly defined governance and operating models with measurable KPIs and impact. A key focus will be the secure, regulatory-compliant implementation of AI solutions—particularly in the context of the EU AI Act and GDPR—as well as the close alignment of technology, product, and business strategy. In addition, Heyden will further expand strategic partnerships with academia and industry.
“My focus is on consistently translating the innovative strength of research and development into robust, scalable products—with clear standards for operations, quality, and measurable impact,” explains André Heyden, Managing Director of cAI Technology GmbH. “For me, platform thinking means not designing isolated solutions, but building structures that are integrable, extensible, and sustainably contribute to operational excellence,” Heyden continues.
Sebastian Ludwig, CEO DACH of the coeo Group and Managing Director of cAI Technology GmbH, adds: “With André Heyden, we are strengthening cAI at a stage where scaling, production readiness, and governance take center stage. Automation executes. AI decides, prioritizes, and learns. Our ambition is not maximum automation, but intelligent orchestration—systems that understand context, evaluate options, and consistently translate decisions into effective processes.”
Extensive Experience in Digital Transformation and Automation
The industrial engineer brings approximately 15 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, and leading large-scale service organizations in regulated industries. Among other roles, Heyden served as COO and as Digital Transformation Director at Barclays and most recently at BAWAG. His focus included the automation of AI-supported customer interactions and service processes across the entire customer journey—from onboarding and servicing to collections, fraud management, and offboarding.
In addition, he advanced the development of data- and ML-driven analytics to enable data-based decision-making and the targeted evolution of digital service offerings.
