They have already been active on the Belgian market since August 2020, now with their own office. The new CIB office in Zaventem will initially be staffed by a team of 12 employees. Branch manager Nikolaas De Donder will lead the operational team and support the expansion.
“With the opening of an office in Belgium, CIB can serve Belgian clients much better. The local colleagues speak the language and feel at home in the socio-cultural environment. This improves the dialogue with our clients’ customers,” says Roman Berkhout, CCO of CIB.
“Research shows that there is a lot of room for further innovation in data-driven collection methods in Belgian credit management. It is a great challenge for us to make big steps in this area in a new environment,” says Niels de Peuter, CEO of CIB.
