With the opening of a new office in Essen on June 18, 2026, coeo Inkasso GmbH continues on its growth trajectory while expanding its service portfolio in the banking sector. The new office serves as the headquarters for the newly established “Banking & Financial Services” business unit, which specializes in NPL servicing and the management of complex loan portfolios in the DACH region.

Strategic Expansion in the Banking Sector
The new business unit strengthens coeo’s expertise for banks and financial service providers and lays the foundation for further growth in a challenging market environment. The Essen location offers ideal conditions for this: The region is characterized by a high concentration of banks and financial service providers and, at the same time, boasts a large pool of qualified professionals with relevant industry expertise.
In addition, both clients and employees benefit from the excellent transportation connections and the central location within Europe’s most populous metropolitan area.

“With our new ‘Banking & Financial Services’ business unit, we are expanding our service portfolio specifically for banks and financial service providers in the DACH region. Essen offers us the ideal conditions for this: proximity to our clients, access to highly qualified professionals, and excellent infrastructure. At the same time, it was important to us to create a location that combines modern work practices, sustainability, and a high quality of life,” explains Ahmet Bilen, Director of Banking & Financial Services.

Modern, sustainable, and forward-looking
Sustainability played a central role in the design of the new location. Instead of purchasing new office equipment, coeo consistently focused on reusing and refurbishing existing resources. Furniture, fixtures, and even the curtains were professionally refurbished by regional craft businesses and integrated into the modern office concept.
The new location was designed to be modular and sustainable and offers space for a total of 40 workstations.

Attractive Working Conditions for Employees
In addition to modern workspaces, employees benefit from numerous additional amenities located right in the building. These include, among other things, a daycare center, a cafeteria, and a fitness center.
When selecting a location, coeo focused in particular on a modern work environment, sustainability, good accessibility, and a pleasant working atmosphere. The goal was to create a workplace that is not only functional but also one that employees enjoy using and make full use of.

With its new location in Essen and the launch of the “Banking & Financial Services” business unit, coeo is reaching another important milestone on its growth trajectory and further expanding its position as a specialized partner for banks and financial service providers.
